n18 vs ni4 w/ JCW upgrade

I have owned an '08S and now own a '12S. The new car is faster. I wonder how the '08 and later n14s with the JCW upgrades compare in performance with the standard n18 '11 and '12's.

I wonder if the gear ratios have changed on the 11 and 12s. I had a loaner and felt faster than my 10...10Hp difference won't make that much of a difference.
