Intake

I ordered a K&N intake model 69-2004TTK and was told by a K&N customer service rep from K&N's contact number on their website that the intake would fit a 2012 Cooper S Hardtop. When I got the intake today, and tried to install it; it didn't fit as I was told. Can anyone else verify that the K&N intake does or doesn't fit a 2012 Cooper S hardtop?

Thanks

It appears it's NOT designed for the N18 engine, only the N14 (2007-2010).
Return it and await for an updated kit, or choose a different vendor.

MiniCoopOH, you have to figure out what engine you have. Amongst turbocharged MINIs, there are 2, the older N14 and the newer N18.

This is the correct intake for a 2012 non JCW Cooper S

The K&N is not for the N18 engine as you can't replace the hose from the airbox to the turbo because of the sensors in it.
