Success. I removed the "Cooper" with fishing line. Used goo gone the remove the adhesive. Spray cleaner to remove the goo gone residue. And spray cleaner wax after that. No ghost. Perfect. Thanks for your input.

I know this post was quite awhile ago, I was using the search bar to try to find my answer and this answered it partially.

I want to remove the 'COOPER' emblem and I see you used fishing line, another member recommended dental floss. I am a big paranoid of ruining something:

1. did you just take the string, slide it behind the letter and pull to the opposite side?

2. take the string, slide it behind the letter and pull towards you?

3. take the string, slide it behind the letter and use it like a saw going up and down with slight force against the letter?
