I purchased a 2012 MCS with the standard A/C. The lowest fan setting keeps the car cool here in Atlanta but I find it too loud/strong, especially with the radio off. Is there a may to modify the fan speed? Basically I think it needs a 0.5 setting.

 

You can try turning the vent position **** all the way to the right (windscreen, front and lower vents on.) Deflecting the air in those 3 directions should quiet the fan down and still deliver the same cooling capacity.

 

Yep that is about as slow as you are going to get it with out modifying anything.

in my cms all4, using this position, i cannot hear the fan in the lowest setting

Get an exhaust system and lower the windows then the fan won't bother you.
