Anyone have any suggestions? My bike shop recommends the Bones 2 by Saris. I need to carry 2 bikes.

Thoughts?

 

I have only owned my Mini a month and we purchased 2 Mini touring bike holders and roof rack with the car. We own Cannondale Carbon bikes, so they are very light to place over head. I love the locking feature of the clamp for security. I have to say after the having the bikes bouncing behind us in the Yakima rack on my former car, I love the new one. Easy to use and secure.
There is a picture in my gallery with only my bike on the top. We have had both mine and my husbands and it was great.

I really like my OEM roof rack/ Thule Critierium combo. You can check the PICS link in my signature for pictures.

 

The systems are exactly the same, they are just manufactured under the different names. I guess this type of bike system has two positive votes. We use the Thule system for our kayaks and they are a quality brand. I guess it would come down to cost and when they could arrive. Good luck.
