Last fall I bought a JCW carbon fiber scoop. I had the car away for the winter so I did not get to installing it until this weekend. Everything was ok until I got to the last screw. It seems the screw that gets installed from under the bonnet is different. The factory scoop uses a plastic push in with a plastic screw to expand it. The JCW one uses a metal clip that has threads in it. It looks like it should accept a metal bolt. I did not notice the difference until I already had the scoop clipped in. If you ever installed one of these you would know that they are so thin I would think it would break if I were to try to remove the scoop again. I am sure that someone else has come to this problem, what did you do? What size bolt did you use. Thanks.

I swear on my 08 it was a torx bolt. The dealer and RealOEM show that it was always plastic.
