I searched, but found conflicting information.

For a Gen 2 MINI Justa hardtop R56 (2008), how many back up lights am I supposed to have? I have a bulb-out warning, but I swear every light looks fine. I had my wife get in the car and put on the lights, signals, brakes and every bulb looks OK. When she put it in reverse, I saw only one back up light (in the driver's side tail assembly) light up.

I've read threads that said R56's have two back up lights, others that say only one and it's on the passenger side. Can anyone confirm?

I know the LCI models have two, not sure about pre-LCI.

Yep an '08 MINI Cooper should have Two Back Up Lights!! For replacement would you go OEM or would you go with the New LED Lighting??!!

 

Yeah, this make sense (two lights, one on each side). I was installing my Integral Audio subwoofer this weekend and was futzing in the space around the passenger side taillight. Maybe I unseated it. Thanks much!
