Wheel studs and dealer while under warranty?

Have any of you guys installed a stud kit (specifically the M14 to M12 one from Way) while under warranty and brought it in for service? If so, did they still work on the car or say anything about it? Just wondering what different reactions dealers have had before i purchase. Thanks!

I can't imagine that would be an issue unless the problem is a direct result of having the studs.

Ive never had an issue at my dealer with my wheel studs. Just make sure you give them the spline tool to remove the nuts.

I cant imagine them giving you an issue with this ... but ever dealer is different, kinda get a feel for your dealership if they appreciate and like mods or if they frown upon them.

I think they would have to prove that the studs were causing the particular problem. It would be hard for them to make the leap from wheel studs to a timing chain or something like that.

As long as you bring the special socket for the nuts there will be no issue. You'll love not dealing with those bolts anymore!

Thanks guys. I'm just wondering since I'm bringing my car in in about 2 weeks from now to get the water pump recall done along with first service.
