I just leased a 2012 Mini Cooper Hatchback, I would like to replace the chrome grille with a more Cooper S black out honey comb grille.

I have seen blackout kits for the 2007-2010 Mini Cooper, but I heard they don't work for the new models.

Anyone know where I can find a kit for the 2012 model

Mini Mania. I've blacked out my 2011 and my wife's 2012 is the same.

Try some plasti-dip. If you are talking about the chrome trim around the grills, that's what i did. VERY VERY easy to do.

 

Could you elaborate on this? I'm interested in doing this but need a little more info. Thanks.
