how much more psi does the overboost add?

i have the 2011 mcs and it has the overboost function that kicks in who knows when , but anyways i wanted to know what the stock max turbo psi is at 11.6? and does over boost add another bit off psi to produce the 8hp more? i am using the torque app with the obd2 bluetooth scanner and it is showing no more than 12 psi no matter how hard i drive. is something wrong here?

The over boost adds 150mbar (2.17psi) it has a working range between 1600-5000rpm, and has a throttle related time of approximately 12 seconds, for each application of the throttle when the over boost function is demanded.

Your stock MCS turbo boosting pressure is about right, 0.9bar (13.05psi)
