New Member & Looking for a Shop
Well I was looking around for a good Mini Forum and it looks like I found it(Mini2 isn't very responsive)! And glad to find people who share my Mini obsession.
Now down to business, yesterday I let my brother drive my 2007 Mini Cooper S. Next thing I know he blows the Clutch. So he gets towed off the Verrazano bridge and I immediately have the car Towed to Mini of Manhattan because I didn't know of anyone in the Staten Island area who knew what they were doing. I call them first thing in the morning now they want $480 plus tax for THE DIAGNOSTIC. A whole new OEM clutch is give or take $400. Can anyone recommend a good BMW/Mini shop in the Staten Island area? Or if not a Mini shop at least a place that does good clutch work for a reasonable price?
Always appreciated,
Jonathan

I would take this post to the region part of the forums and ask people around your area... If no one responds PM me and I can give ya my mechanic, but im north jersey. good luck might want to look at after market clutches or upgrades? I always turn around blow outs and freak accidents as easy justification to upgrades
