Against my better judgement I bought a K&N intake model K&N 69-2004TTK. for my 2011 MCS. I know, I know its only compatible with 2007-2010 MCS! I figured from the pictures I could modify the intake pipe to accommodate the air intake temperature sensor that is now present in 2011 models. Little did I know I now found out once I attempted the install that there is a crankcase vent hose sensor that is not going to be happy with my intake. When they did the engine bay changes from 2010 to 2011 they moved these sensors to the point that the old intake piping is incompatible. Has anyone done an air intake modification that could help me? Please help. I don't know what to do.
