Yes, I have been to meetups here in Raleigh and my attitude doesn't change at all, ask the guy who tried telling me his GPS hack to monitor engine vitals over purpose built gauges for boost and other vitals went. Or, ask the kid who, with no real high performance driving experience, felt when I told him he needed to remain in the back of the pack so people who knew how to drive, could lead and not worry about him parking it in a turn.

My mini won't blow up, I take better care of of my cars and motorcycles than anyone, and I do mean anyone, I know who owns a Mini Cooper. You can ask Advance auto parts about my special arrangement to dump 50 gallons of oil in one trip.

I figured out there aren't many experts or people who know what they're talking about on forums related to Mini Coopers (hence the absence), I discovered more local, some less than local, resources of knowledge about my options for the Mini based on their hardened build experiences, my driving habits and how I want to car to feel, sound and perform both on the track and on the street.
You are one of the most condescending poster I've ever seen.... Okay, I don't care how well you take care of your car. If you beat a car it'll blow up.. eventually. Just get your AKRa exhaust and shut your pie hole. Claims he builds all these high performance cars- wants to change parts that change boost characteristics without a tune. You my friend are absolutely brilliant!

These look like an extra 600 bucks.
OK all puns and zings aside...minipuck did you ever get to the dyno? I'm really curious about this exhaust. 1700 bucks + a DP you're at 2500 dollars. Then maybe spend another 400 bucks on the module that blocks exhaust CEL related codes(if you go that route) and you're at 2900 dollars not including shipping. With a downpipe, exhaust, and delete r module that blocks exhaust CEL codes thrown is this the exhaust that ends all exhausts? Is this worth a 3k investment?

So, I just picked up a new to me 2012 MCS and am going to be adding a new exhaust. I saw the title of the post and figured, bingo, this is a great place to start!

Holy S***!!

I have never read such arrogant posts filled with such unhappiness and disdain for other human beings. Ciscorob, why ask a question that you already know the answer to just to insult and belittle fellow MINI Cooper fans?

What a tool. Wow!

Seems like there is a once a year necropost that haunts my inbox.

Bro, I don't really care what you think, or hell, anyone here thinks. I always get quite a laugh from forums because there area variety of "experts" floating around here. In fact, it seems the higher the post count and the number of DIY posts you make equates to some sort of God like complex on these forums, but that is unanimous across all forums on the Internet.

The problem with most people is they're more than willing to contribute useless material when the response is for something unique. Most on here won't purchase an Akrapovic system and there are some people who say "No matter how hard you run a motor, it will blow up" (for which, I'd love to show you the 42,000 miles 600RR engine that, stock internals, hasn't had a single valve adjustment and has passed all leak down tests, you're welcome to meet at VIR when MotoAmerica arrives or when I take the grid at ASRA), so there are lot of people who're going to say what they want and I will too, whether you like it or not.

Don't like it? Don't read it. Does your opinion matter? Nope. I would say the majority of people who put all these mods on their car can't drive worth a crap anyways, sorry, but I've been around racing for 12+ years and its just the majority of what I've seen. HP numbers are worthless if you're parking it in turns, ask any accomplished driver/rider, they'll absolutely agree.

In fact, its the same as the kid who shows up to track day with his BST carbon fiber rims, built engine, Dunlop slicks, Ohlins suspension, full exhaust and $900 tune and still runs 25 seconds behind the lap record while getting lapped by yellow plates with 7+ year old machines. Tool, to you, absolutely, loud and proud!
