Please know I have searched....

Anyone have the universal mount for the OEM rack? Pricey, but looks like something I could use.

Also, I've read about some being able (and some not) to fit fairings to the OEM rack but I didn't see any specifics as to how it was done. I couldn't get the Thule fairing to fit as the clamps were just a tad too small and I couldn't imagine it staying secure - not to mention it did not completely clear the sunroof. Some have mentioned a universal adaptor of sorts and one owner fashioned his own extension, but is there any thing out there that doesn't need Macgyvering?
