Digital vs actual pic

Thought this was fun when I notice it. And it might give some ideas to people who wonder how different their car will look on the configurator and real life.

It's not that bad of a difference with the exception of maybe the wood trim.

Just wait a few years, it will look completely different. Carbon fibers, stickers, brake dust, more carbon fibers... Pedals, a big honking intercooler, JCW Alcantara steering wheel... Door pulls, wing lip... I can't hardly recognize mine anymore...

I bet the color difference on the interior has a lot to do with lighting.

the config image is an illustration - not an actual car. lighting and color is all simulated and I would bet the interior is default across all possible configurations with maybe an exception to verts.
