Is this the most crowded Mini forum in the US?

Sorry if I am offending anyone, but where is everyone? I was part of the e90forums before, and everyone is selling lots of stuff everyday. Aftermarket body parts, etc, and there are tons of people. I know there is a whole bunch of mini owners out there, but where are they? Is this the highest populated mini forum? And how come theres no nice bodykits or etc for the Mini in here :( Its so sad..

there are a lot mor E90's on the roads than there are MINI's so it is easier for aftermarket vendors to sell their parts, I.E. more sales means more styles.

Yes this is the most active forum in the US and one of the top in the world. There may be one or two in Japan that have more members but they are also much more fanatical about their cars than many people in the US.

Also of note is YES there are a lot of MINI owners out there but it is getting to be that many of them just have bought the car for its small size and economy not the FUN aspect that we here on the forums enjoy.

Well if there is very few people that are going to buy one then the aftermarket designers dont design them.

If you check out some of the Japanese sites for aftermarket parts they are a bunch available. But from my experience and checking on pricing/shipping the cost is well beyond what i personally and willing to pay. I am just not willing to pay $15K-$20K for a body kit.

I kind of wondered the same thing when I got my Mini. I'm still searching for a good forum for those that like to track their mini (especially R56).
