Racing Dynamics Carbon Fiber Rear Upper Stress Bar

I've heard arguments that this does nothing beneficial for the mini's handling or stiffness . . . does anyone have one? how do u like it??

Thanks!

Ya, I have one in my 07 MCS. I have the alta 19mm sway bar and upper stress bar. To tell you the truth, like always, installing the sway changed the handling of the car completely, but the upper stress bar i couldnt really feel a diffrence, but for overall looks in the interior, it helps.
Hope that helped.

Like my M7 J-brace, it looks pretty cool, but I doubt it does much.

I have that exact one on my 2011 mcs. It does stiffen the chassis. I noticed it when coming out of the driveway at an angle. I would always get a creaking noise from the inside of the car, probably the plastics in the interior but since the install its gone away. Get it if you want, remember its your car.

Thanks automan21!

I wish there were other (cheaper) options for the 2007+ r56 mini's

this seems to be the only rear brace available . . .

good to hear that it works

if anyone knows of any other rear upper strut brace bars or anything similar to this please let me know, thank you muchly!

Rear braces are really good at making things hard to fit in the boot.

I'd suggest spending your money on other mods.

Not like theres room back there in the boot anyway lol.
I dont put anything in there, or people in the rear seats for that matter.
