Hi dumb me,..

i am unable to swap out my fog lights on my R56.. i removed the access cover

and i tried to twist counterclockwise 45 degrees and it won't budge

then i tried to remove the plug by squeezing the bottom edge and it won't detach...

i must be stupid of something..please help..i have a 2009 mcs ..thx!!1

 

Yes they can be hard to change. There are 2 pressure points on the plug that you need to squeeze before it will come off the bulb. Once the plug is off you rotate the bulb about 1/4 turn and it comes out.

If you have some channel locks it makes it much easier to squeeze the clips and turn the bulb.
