R56 Software version / Steering changes?
Software version / Steering changes?
Hey guys,
I recently went in for warranty service, and was wondering if it was common for software to be upgraded by default, without showing up on the service sheet? If so, is there any way to check what version one has? (FYI I have a 2010 MCS, late 2009 build)
Secondly, regarding the discussion of the supposed torque steer fix for '11 models, has that been "included" in software upgrades by default? I read about the initial reports of being an update with charges, not sure what the results were. After bringing my car in for service, steering has been extremely loose, I suppose you could say it lacks the torque steer it had before. Just wondering if this may have been caused by software and not a technician's mistake...
Thanks for any insight
