Mileage ?....

So how many miles should I expect to get out of a MINI S? I take exceptional care of vehicles with regular maintenance, full synthetics, nothing but premium, etc... Most used MINIs I'm finding around here have 40-50k miles on them already, and given the price they sell for, I'm curious about how many more miles I should expect to get out of it.

I have stretched it just short of 500 miles. Had traffic not went to crap I would have made the 500 mile club.

Well over 100k if you take good care of it.

The sky's the limit as long as you keep fixing it. No telling how many miles some of the classic Minis from the '60s have on them.

Lol, hell I got 150k out of a 98 plymouth Neon (never thought I'd get that much as most of the statistics say engine trouble close to 90k miles)... But, like, I know I should be able to get 200k out of my toyota truck without blinking an eye... So I didn't know if there was an average life expectancy for MINIs before they started needing repairs and replacements to keep em going??

Try to be patient; I'm fairly confident that you'll eventually get to fix/replace something.

Most moving parts are wear items; it just takes some parts a lot longer than others to wear-down or fatigue-out.
