R56 My "Semi-Home made" Red Color Line is FINISHED
looks really nice and makes me feel stupid for ordering all that with the car :( def could of saved money and done it your way and put the extra money into performance ... looooks really nice and professrionallly done
Yeah! That's some very nice work, and it's gotten my attention because I'm very partial to the wood look, and might have specified that package on my MINI if I hadn't bought it off the lot.
I have the piano black dash accents; has anyone tried to wrap those bits with a woodgrain vinyl or similar? Any advice in this regard would be much appreciated.
I added wood to my MG dash the old-fashioned way, via 1/8" bubinga veneer:

That was a bit easier though, being flat. Sure looks better than black vinyl!

In keeping with the theme of the thread I thought I would post a link to the mod I completed after this one.
I ordered a kit and wrapped my door pulls and dash trim in black/red carbon fiber.
The link to the thread is here, and I figured I'd cross post it since some of you may not srr it buried in the "Interior mods" forum.

The feedback seems to be positive on those mods as well
