R56 Used price
Used price
I was trying to find out how much my 07 S is worth if I sold it . Prices seem all over the place . What's the best way to find the value ? Blue book has it about 2 grand less than I paid new which is ridiculous .
Normally I go to completed sales on bay but there are only a couple . Whatcha' got ?

Edmunds, Kelley Blue Book is another one. I like autotrader.com also.
I am also selling a 2007 MCS because I just ordered a new one last week.
The guaranteed price Autotrader gives you is pretty much a wholesale price but if you ask to be contacted when you get the value you will get lots of e-mails and calls from dealers wanting to buy or trade yours. I took that price and went to a Honda dealer who looked at mine and promptly offered me $2,500 more right away. if a non-MINI dealer is willing to do that on an outright buy the trade or private sale price should be even higher.

In the New York and adjoining states many dealers use "Galves" to determine value of a car besides looking at what similiar cars are priced at, at the auction. Whenever pricing a car for private sale or possible trade in, I always use both KBB (Kelley Blue Book) and Edmunds. But also pay the 5 bucks for a one day subscription to Galves, as the dealer is likely to be using it as a reference point in what they will offer me.
