Anyone having an issue with the DDMWORKS race intake wearing through the vaccuum hose that crosses on top of the intake tube?

 

The DDM RIS should come with a flexible rubber vacuum hose. I recommend that you rotate the vacuum hose adapter 90 deg. clockwise that's connected to the vacuum pump. You should still look at the hose every oil change to make sure it's not starting to get a bigger kink in the hose. I've had mine set up this way on my R56 S for about 40,000 miles and I haven't had an issue yet. I'll probably replace the hose before Spring.
