If ordering an MC and 15 inch wheels I know you get a spare as tires are not runflat. Is a spare still provided if upgrading to 16 inch wheels? My guess is no but figured I would ask. Of course runflat is only option with 16 inch wheels.

And if the correct answer is that no spare is provided, is the bracket that holds the spare tire underneath the MC still provided so one could put a spare there if they wanted to? Will it hold a 16 inch wheel tire just as the MC holds a 15inch?

On my 09 I just went with the 15's. But may pass it down to my daughter and get another MC...or a Countryman All4.

 

I would think it would still come with the spare, but that would be a question for the MA. The space is available for it, so at a miniumum you could add it. It is not a 15" or a 16" spare, but just one of those small temp spares.

 

Of course things change over time.

I have an 07 with 16 inch wheels it has the mini spare.
