Recently I've seen two MINIs with a different bonnet emblem. Instead of the black background with white "MINI" written across it, the round emblem is that of BMW. The BMW symbol is the round one with two blue and two white areas.

Anyone know where to get these and why they are made. They were seen in Japan where I now live.
