Vinyl sunroof covers

I am contemplating buying some of the vinyl adhesive sunroof covers to put on my 07 S. For those not familiar with them, basically they are pieces of vinyl that are exactly cut to fit over the sunroof. they are held on with adhesive. I have a white roof and am looking to get them in white.

The point of putting them on is twofold.
1. it will prevent heat build-up in the summer
2. it makes the roof of your car one color....not white with a big black square in it.

Obviously the vinyl will only be on the glass itself and the black gaskets from the sunroof will still show.

The point of this post is to see of anyone has installed these and if so, can I see real life pics? I have seen pics online....but they are from far away and from overhead...I am looking for more realistic pics as most people will not be looking at my car from a helicopter.

PS I am looking for pics of the solid white ones only....not ones with decals on it.....just plain white.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Got the black roof so the sunroof would blend in - then had a high quality ceramic tint applied - see my sig.

subscribed, i plan on doing this soon on my car (white roof).

there are perforated vinyl covers that you can still sort of see out of, that's what i'm planning on. might not look as perfect as solid white though.

I wish I had a black roof. I bought my car used so I had little choice in the matter. If I were to order from the factory I would have had a black roof for sure.

Dont hold me to this...but i believe the solid vinyl holds up better over time. I thought I read somewhere that the warranty on the solid is a few years longer than the perforated version. I live in MI and mine will get snow on it, so I have to go solid for sure....since I want it to last for a while.

Still looking for pics of the white if anyone can produce some .

I would have the little bit of roof that shows painted black then. Solid white plastic won't last as stated above, and will look cheap. IMHO.
