storage question

I'll be going on a 6-9 month deployment next year around july/august and I was wondering what all should I do with my mini to keep it from getting messed up during that time? If anything was to happen to it though would I be covered by that bumper to bumper warranty they do up until 50k?

I'm not an expert, but I would imagine a battery tender if possible, fill up the tank and put some fuel stabilizer in there.

Also change the oil before you go, put it up on stands if you can, and a nice breathable cover wouldn't hurt either.
From an old Navy vet to a young one, THANKS for your service. Good luck. .

As mentioned above, change the oil, fuel stabilizer, and try and put it up on blocks/stands. Also, if you end up putting the car on stands, make sure the wheels are elevated and the tires aren't on the ground so they don't flat spot. If you take the wheels off, lay them flat.

Best of luck to you and return safely. As others have said already, thanks again for your service.
