Wintermode
Hey guys,
I finally got my winter tires in, and got them mounted over the weekend. While I was waiting for them to be mounted, I washed and detailed my car so it would be all ready for the snow. When I got my wheels back, I did the same. I never thought I'd be using these wheels as winter wheels
(they were my summer wheels on my Cooper), I can only hope they don't look too bad in the spring.
Does anyone have any other suggestions of things I should do before the snow flies? I already know I'm going to drive it as little as possible, but I want the car to be as protected as it can be when I have to drive it (to school, to work, and back home).
Here's my winter setup:

Keep the salt off when ever the roads are coated with it. May require a lot of visits to car washes as I would imagine that Buffalo can be a version of Ice Station Zebra. I can wash my car in the garage as long as the outside temp doesn't go below 27-28 as long as I keep the lights on, and there is one DIY car wash that has warmwater which allows a good attack on the undercarriage.
