How much would dealer reset code for Xenon HL's?

I am swapping out my halogen headlight for OEM Xenon. I have been told that dealer would need to clear the code or some thing to get the xenon working.
Does anyone know how much would they charge or any trick to get them work w/o touching the computer?
Thanks so much in advance!
-Mike

The programming/coding for the xenon retrofit is probably about an hour to an hour and half of dealer time. So it depends on their hourly rate.

I thought that switching from halogen to xenon involved a whole lot more then just switching out the headlights and going to the dealer for an ecu change. I've been wishing I had xenons since I got my car, so if it's really that easy I'd like to know.

Your correct in order to retrofit you'll need the front and rear leveling sensors with the appropriate wiring harnesses. I've yet to hear of a successful Xenon retrofit usually folks just install an aftermarket HID system.

Yeah that sounds about right. I've searched the forums and beyond looking for a successful OE retrofit and have yet to see one. I just learned to be happy with what I have . Good luck to the OP with your swap.
