Self Service

Well my car is now out of warranty with close to 30k on him! YAY, now I can buy fun stuff for gol1ath! But on to more pressing matters. When your car says it needs to be serviced, what do you guys do? Being out of warranty and 3 hours from a dealer these options are out of the question. Besides basic oil changes, air filters, and the like what are other things I need to be on the lookout far and how often should I do these or you guys just reset it and go about your way? Coming from an old work truck that just needed the oil changed, I'm not sure what all need to be done to keep gol1ath running as long as he can.

Thanks,
David

Your "Warranty" should be 4 years 50K miles

Your "Maintenance Plan" should be 3 years 36K miles.

And on the subject of Oil Changes search here and you will find this is a very debated subject which car really get people going.

Search here and then check you Maintenance Manual for what your schedule maintenance on other parts (brakes, air filter, etc) need to be checked.
