Help using BMW GT1

2007 R56 that has an overly sensitive sensor. Occasionally when the handbrake is on and my wife tries to pull out of the garage the vehicle abruptly stops which results in the airbag light coming on and staying on. I have had this reset 3 times by the dealer (100 miles away). Well it is back again for the same reason and I am wanting to try and fix without another trip to the dealer. I have a friend who picked up a BMW GT1 (yellow), LAPTOP with DIS V57 SSS V32 AND TIS but neither of us have any experience using it.

Anyone walk through the steps required to do the reset?

thx

Dan

I don't have an answer to your reset question, but did the dealer determine what is causing the airbag light (there should be a code)? Your car is under warranty and they should fix the actual cause of the problem, not simply reset it. The bottom line is that the light is going on and it shouldn't.

These may help you get started:

Look for some other videos by that user (obdresource). You should be able to get pretty far by exploring the software's menus and searching the web.
