First service tomorrow 18.500k

I am at 18,500 miles and i changed my oil to mobile 1 0-40 at 5k and again at 15k.....how should i deal with that with the dealer? Just let them change it?

I am hearing some brake pad noise...seems early...and i have not received any service lights..will they check them?

I Had the broken yellow check engine light a couple times over the winter..i will mention that to them, but now that it is warmer i doubt they will address it.

I have what sounds like a little bit of deaseling noise...but from what i have read this is 100% normal? i am going to bring it up....but i expect them to say its normal.

So basically i am going to be driving a couple hours to get an oil change i don't really need...but am doing it to keep in good graces with my dealer?

You should go just to make sure everything is in good shape. If you have an S and you have a bad timing chain (diesel noise), they'll replace it for you. Same with the brakes if there's something wrong or you need new ones. Also, the check engine light should be in the cars computer log, so they should still be able to tell you why it popped up.

I'd go. It's always good to have your bases covered with the dealer in case anything goes wrong. They'll give you crap if you go much past the schedules given by the OBC.

And they should address you brakes, CEL, ect.

I was like you; had changed my oil several times before the OBC said it was time. When I took it in they changed the oil and filter, cabin air filter, wipers, topped off all fluids, and just gave the car an overall check. Well worth my time...
