Mayfair Club

Hello,

I have been trying to get a Mayfair club started in Roseville CA. Don't know how many were made, but I have not seen much around so it looks like we own a pretty special version!

Let me know if you are interested in helping me to get this going.

Thanks!

Jumping over from the 1st Gen forums to check out the 2nd Gen goings-on, found this thread. Happy to announce that this coming weekend, my wife and I should be bringing home a Mayfair, in Pepper White, from our local dealer. Going to give the Pocket Rocket a garage mate :-) If all goes as planned, I'll post some pics soon!

I must admit that at the time of the creation of this group, I am not an official Mayfair owner. I am in the Mini Purgatory of knowing my Mayfair MCS is out on a dock in Southampton waiting for a ship to bring him to his new home in the mountainous, twistie-filled roads of SW Virginia. Hopefully the wait will be over near the start of March

My specs: 2010 MCS, PW/B, Mayfair package (obviously), Convenience, Cold Weather, Auto AC, Satellite, H/K, Anthracite Headliner, Rear fogs, Invisashield clear bra, chrome scoop. No sunroof, though – I was floored by the amount of noise they let in during test drives

Anyway, we all know that our Mayfairs are special – from those toffee bonnet stripes to the special Mayfair “bling” items that set us apart. I especially like the subtle turquoise green stitching in the toffee leather seats. It sounds like it would stick out like a sore thumb, but actually goes beautifully with the rest of the design of the cabin.

So, be it a Hot Chocolate, Pepper White or the elusive Midnight Black Mayfair, this is the place to discuss why your ride is the best on the road (or at least in your garage).

I'm looking for details on the Mayfair. I chose not to buy one in 2010, but got one last weekend. Does anyone know manufacturing details - how many were imported, in Pepper White, Chocolote, or Midnight?

Hi All, I'm new here and just purchased my first MINI, a 2010 MCS Mayfair. Gearheadaddy, you mentioned a total production of 2,600. Is that in the US or worldwide? Also, where did you find this number?

Thanks!

Glad to be in the club! Yes, its a Mayfair. Previous owner removed the stripes and the rallye lights were damaged in an accident. New OEM stripes are in my garage. The Mayfair is my favorite MINI of all time.
