Though I didn't post this in this thread, I did when I first got the car.

So here goes....

My dealership seems to think the cure for everything is lube.

I always make fun because everytime I have an issue, they quickly break out the lube.

My rear hatch rattled... it drove me crazy. Having been in the bodyshop business for over 25 years, I figured it was time to make an adjustment.

I adjusted that damn hatch for 2 hours straight... even with me hanging out the hatch with my wife driving, I simply could not adjust the hatch so it wouldn't rattle. Unfreakinbelieveable.

So, I got it as quiet as I could and figured I should lube it. (yeah, funny, ha ha)

I lubed it and guess what....

NO MORE RATTLE.

So you may want to "lube" it.

Where did you lube it? I just bought some Plastilube to do my brakes. Can I use that?

I had the same problem on mine. Everytime I would close the hatch it would bounce off my low hanging *****. They support the parcel shelf when in the up position.

Just take out the parcel shelf and reinstall. Your ***** will be adjusted and not bouncing off the boot

Do you also need a booster seat for the toilet?
