I have the same problem all the time. I have the daytime running lights that come on when I start the car but doesn't seem to help anything..No one can seem to hear the horn either...

Drivers in general suck...it doesn't matter what part of the country your from...you have to be aware of your surroundings.

I'd had my MINI only a few days when an elderly lady in a Buick pulled out of a Walgreens without looking, and I had to take evasive action. I really don't like driving around town, frankly, and the highways can be worse, if crowded. Give me a deserted country road any day - the more curves, the better!

You have the right idea.....steer around the road way nut cases. I pretty much drive my Mini in same manner I rode a MC. But now have more steel around me.

I'm looking for the perfect a-panel design and maybe white viper stripes on my little Mia. yeah SUV's are horrible but I almost got creamed by a cement truck! that was the scariest thing EVER!

I have a idea put white racing stripes on your mini cooper = makes it stand out . Hold on tight and zoom on down the road & watch for them cell phone drivers they are the pitts of the highway ! I find parking lots are the worse place to be in a MINI surrounded by huge SUV's . Drive safe La La .Motor on safe girl !

I have found since i have gotten my Cooper you have to watch everyone else while driving because the other drivers may not see you or im just scared i will get blasted by the bigger SUV's, trucks or bikes LOL . Yes i have to drive on the Defensive side now because i don't want my Lighting Blue Baby to get hurt . Seems cars just want to pull out on you all the time . Drive safe La La . Like i said before the land of huge SUV's in parking lots are Hell ! I try to park away from them so they will not dent my doors and crush my top . I do love my Cooper = Zoom Zoom hold on tight !

I drive into Manhattan to go to work everyday. Being raised here, I'm on my tippy toes every second watching for cabbies, cell phone abusers, and those "squeeze into your lane" people.
I must admit though, I really get a rush out of rush hour. Gets my day going.....
