Hi all.. I have an opportunity to get a used 2008 Mini (justacooper) with low miles at a good price. It has some of the options I've been looking for, but a few I want aren't included.

The items I WISH it had are:

-Black Bonnet Stripes
-Front Fog Lamps
-Cloth Seats
-Driving Lamps

Is there a way to have some/all of these items added to a used MINI? Dealer installed or aftermarket?

Also Is there something specific I should look for when checking out a used Mini?

You can get much better stripes from almost anywhere and there are all sorts of driving light setups. I'm sure you could have the dealer install the fog lamps, but that may be a bit pricey.

A couple other questions came to mind, it has the Navigation system, does this mean that my Bluetooth phone will work on the car or is Bluetooth functionality a seperate option? I checked MINI site and found a "Bluetooth and USB iPod adaptor", is this what you need to get if you want bluetooth, or is this something else?

 

Either way dude if you buy a JAC you still cant go wrong if its JAC or a Cooper S. I mean cmon its a mini, you wont be disappointed i promise you.

 

My dealer quoted me $950 for standard driving lamps retrofitted. You can do them yourself and they'll look just as good for $300-400 if I'm not mistaken. Same lights.

 

Anyone know about the Bluetooth?

 

Ya the bluetooth is a package feature if you get it in one of the packages, but check and see if the mini your looking at has it.
