We are having the dealer do a search for one for us. Sunroof and winter pkg for the wife, LSD for me.

Hmm, strange, motoringfile is reporting that the LSD will be available until mid way through the 2010 model year.

Also, I'm sceptical about how much lighter the e-diff will be compared to the diff they already have to put on the car. Why is the open diff any lighter? BTW, read th MotoringFile article and it sounded like it borrowed liberally from a BMW press release. I the e-diff is so great, why does BMW reserve the mechanical diff for the M cars?
Well then get an 09. Problem solved.

Just ordered my 2010 MCS, and confirmed that the mechanical LSD will be available until March 2010! Woo hoo

Bummer is I wanted Mellow Yellow, but the LSD is more important to me. BTW, Interchange Yellow is not one of the colors offered on the MCS. the only non-metallic colors available are Pepper White and Chili Red. MotoringFile got about 50% of its facts right.

Did you order DTC as well? You might want to check into it, but I think it is the option you need to be able to turn off the electronic systems.
