I see the resemblance. Its gonna be a winner for sure.
The roof kept throwing me off at first as other's have mentioned, but I think it is because they have it a seperate color. If you make it the same color as the side support it would not jump out so much.
this definitely does not have the aerodynamic limitations of the current models...lighter as well...damn...I want one, to add to the "family" and imagine if it was a mid-engine, too...
Not sure if I don't like it, but it's bascially a Nissan Z roofline grafted onto a Cooper body, but with the back end looking more like the one on the convertible. The mistake in the design is the rear spoiler. It looks like an afterthought.
Another question... this is only a two seater since the roof is so low in the back. The body length looks about the same though. This thing would either have 1) lots of storage space, 2) a mid engine, 3) room for to make it an electric or 4) room for a spare tire ( )
Well, I dig it. I like how the roof line "humps" flow into the rear spoiler. Very unique design feature. The painted JCW rims are gorgeous and I hope the "Joey Mod" blacked out headlights become a factory option.
I not sure I like it. I think they should leave the body style alone. I wish BMW would come out with a new Triumph in stead of messing with the MINI. Just my two cents
If the roofline gets a redo, I would definitely consider this as the next addition to my MINI/Mini garage. I think it will look best with a silver roof and black body. I'll reserve judgement until I can see and drive one.
