This is a graph of a stock R56 MCS (my car), and a stock R56 JCW, dyno'ed on our Dynojet dyno. Figures are at the wheels.

So MotorMouth and Ryphile are correct, in my view. Both cars are under-rated if you're considering MINI's crank power ratings.
So if you managed, say, 205 hp at the WHEELS (only 7 more than the JCW made), you could claim 228 crank (assuming 10% drivetrain loss to the dyno), a whopping 52 more than MINI's rated crank power. But in my view that would not be truth in advertising...
