Does Klasse have anything that can do the same thing as Prima Amigo and Prima Banana Gloss ?

Assuming the rest of the product line is similar, it would take a LOT to get me to give up these two Prima products. A lot.

As you can see there are a TON of products out there and varying responses.

I think it is ultimately dependent on what you want from a polish/wax. Do you want something quick and easy or do you want a car show shine.

In my opinion you get what you put into a detail and I enjoy the whole experience - it is therapeutic in a weird way.

One pointer though - if you decide to go with a product with steps (for instance, polish, sealant, wax, etc - you should stick to that line of products. When companies make their products that require a series of steps, each product is meant to compliment each other.

I love the Wizard's products. Their all purpose quick detail cleaner is awesome (called mist n' shine). Use it on everything but the windows/windshield.

I probably put about 2-3 hrs in detailing my car(I know vague)..I agree it is very therapeutic I find myself very relaxed when I'm detailing my car. I guess I'm after a car show shine.

Car care line

Check out my friend's website

He has an entire line of car care products from the auto wash to tire dressing and everything in between. I understand the products are also eco-friendly. The brand is Autoworks-High Performance Auto Care. I've started using them on my car with great results.

Happy Detailing!

I'm still loving Zaino! I supplement it with Hydro and/or Slick sometimes and it looks great! Finish it all off with some Black Wow!

I use Zaino and have been impressed with the results and ease of use. I started with the All-in-One, Clear Seal and Finishing Gloss but just grabbed some Z-2.

Z-8

Hi bluemeanie357,
I use nothing but Zaino car wash when I wash my Chili red JCW. I found once you have a good coating of the polish on the car and only use the Zaino wash all you need is to rub a coat of Z7 or Z8 to keep the car super clean and protected. I use the clear seal on my wheels and the headlight covers.
The Zaino was so good at protecting my Corvette I just don't see any reason to change now. It really does a great job for me and is fast and easy to use.

Klasse = Eradicator of water spots und Cosmoline

Klasse = especially vibrant on CR and Black

most of all, I love the speed and minimal effort to apply- I can do two AIO coats plus two Sonus acrylic glaze coats on top in under 2 hours

Weekend of Detailing

Ok, I know I don't have a Mini yet (crossing fingers)...but I spent about 8 hours over the weekend and wanted to show off the results. I know 8 hours right, - but black cars are A LOT of work.

I've tried a lot of other products and I've found Adam's line to be a good balance of price, ease of use and end results.

If you're interested in detailing your car, I would suggest picking up a Porter Cable Random Orbital Polisher - referred to as a PC. It really helps cut down on the time of detailing.

After testing various products my favorites:
1. Adams Detail Spray - this stuff is sick
2. Zaino Leather Cleaner - keeps your soft and smelling brand new
3. Adams VRT - great on tires, isn't silicon based so does attract dirt
4. P201 Gel Wheel Cleaner
5. Lots of microfiber towels - again Adams Polishes make the nicest I've found - stay away from the Costco Yellow ones on your paint.

Steps Used:
1. Washed vehicle
2. Rinsed with CR Spotless
3. Clayed entire vehicle with Zaino Clay Bar and TONS of Adams Detail Spray.
4. Two passes with PC Orange Pad and Adams Swirl and Haze Remover
5. One pass with PC White Pad and Adams Fine Machine Polish
6. One pass with PC Black Pad and Adams Machine Super Wax
7. Applied Adams Butter Wax

It was a lot of work, but definately rewarding - I think it turned out great. Now I just need to keep the Wifey from parking it next to the sprinkler at work.

I snapped a few shots with my phone before I left for work this morning.

My little helper Sawyer - don't worry I didn't put any cleaner on his tire. But I would be lying if I didn't say it crossed my mind.

Let me know what you think.

I basically want something that's easy to apply without a polisher, but still have a an awesome end result.

If you're looking for something easy without a polisher - you might want to check out this kit.

http://www.adamspolishes.com/p-312-a...-only-kit.aspx

This is the basic polish, wax, applicator and pad. I would also pick up a bottle of VRT. You can use it on your tires and interior plastic. It gives it a nice matte finish.

Cheers.

Hydro is the easiest to apply. You just spay some one while drying the car with a quality towel. As you wipe it dry, you apply the finish. Works great. I think you'll find a lot of Hydro fans here on NAM.

+1 for Hydro and all the Prima products I have tried. And I can't live without my Mr. Clean Auto dry! Best $17 I ever spent at Wallyworld. No more water spots from the nasty Florida water.

For QD I use the Mr. Clean AutoDry specifically for the water filter and the de-ionize setting for the final rinse (use Mystique or Meguiars for the suds), then spray on the Hydro and dry/ with a clean microfiber. Then another layer of Hydro applied dry to boost the shine/protection a bit. So....+1 on the previous two posts.

I have a hundred bucks into Zaino. Haven't barely touched the stuff because I am waiting for cooler weather. Not sure about the mixing and all that. Sal Zaino emailed me and gave me instructions. I am excited to see if it will help with a few imperfections on my paint too. I enjoy that kind of work, so this fall that is what I will be doing. LOVE a clean and sparking car! ....--Stacy

Wash: Eagleone Nano or Meguiars using two buckets (one filled with car wash soap and water and the other just water to rinse before dipping into the soap filled water)

Interior: Vinylex and 303 Aerospace Protectactant

Wax: Collinite Marque' De Elegance (beads like crazy and lasts a long time)

Wheels: Wheelwax

I also have a clear bra on the hood and the front bumper.

Nothing but Zaino's has touched Nigel since I've owned it. The other day I spotted another Chilli Red R56 in Costco's parking lot so I parked next to it. I haven't washed mine for about two weeks [a rare time lapse] and even with two weeks of dirt on mine, it out shone the one next to me. I am a solid believer in Zaino. I'm sure ther are other great products out there but I'll be sticking with Zaino. My wife has a dark blue Ford SportTrac and the difference it made when I applied the Zaino made it look nicer than the day we picked it.

The mixing you were concenre about. Not a problem. Just use good qulity towels and make sure you use the clay twice a year. I clay mine in the spring and the fall.
