R56 Alta boost gauge
Alta boost gauge
well im thinking of getting an alta boost gauge, since i may have some money for goodies in the next couple of weeks.
i have a few questions though for those of you that have the boost gauge pod:
How extensive/hard of a job is it to actually get it all running, i dont want to pull apart half of my car and then decide oh nop its too hard.
Is the reading on the gauge accurate? what percentage of error is their?
seems thats about it, if its an easy install il get the gauge, although im kinda split in between the jcw shift indicator, and the boost gauge.
which one would be better?

I would have to say the entire install is NOT SIMPLE. There are many steps and requires taking apart allot of pieces of the car. There's another thread on this in the Electrical section. Search for it. Very informative and great pics.
BUT, well worth the effort. I love seeing the boost levels. And it looks to be pretty accurate based on the MAP readings from the ODB II port.
