a friend of mine told me once that anybody that puts on aftermarket rims is part of the Rebel Alliance and a traitor and should be taken away.... personaly i like them.

Actually, I like black wheels but not THOSE black wheels in your pictures...

 

I have crown spokes on my 08 MCS LB/B and I love them. However, the black rims don't look bad with your color scheme, and it sets your MINI apart from others. Not to mention you won't be cleaning brake dust off every few days.

 

Black crowns.

 

I like them both!! Mini loser I guess. Would you paint them or powder coat them?? Seems the powder coating would hold up better. I love those crown spoke ones - is one reason I bought my first Cooper.

You are the one that has to drive it every day.

And if you like that sunroof deflector, keep it! The car is yours.

 

i like the black, just not a fan of chrome on black wheels.

I'm usually not a fan of black rims, but in this case, I am . Definitely go with black.

 

The crowns seem to fit better, but I have never been a fan of them.

 

I many have already said, I don't normally like black rims, but it suits your colour scheme. I DO like the chrome lip in this case because it goes with the chrome doorhandles, gas cap, etc.
The silver rims, though nice, don't go with anything. I know... 99% of cars have silver rims whether the car is silver or not (including mine), but MINIs don't have to follow trends.

 

The color of the black ones with a polshed lip look good but no the rim style. You should look at a differnent style. My vote is for the Crowns

I vote for the black WHEELS. (Rims are something you put on an Escolade, wheels go on a MINI)

 

so here we are ive decided to paint my crowns and put on the black rims and i just finished putting on the roof stripes not sure if i like and leave the sunroof alone i like it because its the most functional one ever made.
