Hi everyone!

I am interesting in installing the MINI alarm system for my '07 MCS.

I've been quoted a price of about $295 for the alarm and about 3.5 hours for installation. According to the dealer the installation is complex because they have to do something with the steering column. I'm curious if anyone has installed the factory alarm what the people typically paid.

I'd also like to try to find a factory system less then $295 but don't seem to be having any luck.

Any help would be appreciated!

When you wanna buy from the dealer, check Morristown MINI. Can't help you with an install though.

Thanks everyone for your feedback. I can source the alarm through Morristown for less so that would bring it around the $500 everyone else is paying. Thanks again all!

 

I think it's worth it. Mine had it by chance (bought the car off the lot) and I'm glad it did now. If I were building a new MINI, I'd add it again.
