My car is confirmed for this boat. This will be my 3rd time waiting. My wife's car was delivered Jan 8th, 2009 and mine followed 2 weeks later. (They finished production on the same day but mine did not make the boat.) So that is 2 waits. But the car was not quite right and so I am waiting again for the 3rd time. You know what they say the third time is the charm.

The ship is due to arrive in California February 22, 2009. Man oh man I can't wait. I still have not driven my wife's car Dotty.

Fulburt is going to be quite a bit younger than Dotty.

I can't wait. If anyone else is on this boat sound off!!

What happened? Did people stop buying Coopers completely? I can't believe all the cars on this boat are for stock????

 

maybe 'cause you posted in the wrong sub-forum, this should be in the "Minis in General" > "1st Gear" with all the other boat ride stories

 

Dang!! Thanks for pointing that out. Maybe the mods can move it for me. I'm not posting it again. I already screwed up the first time and mistakenly posted it in the clubman forum and that was double wrong as well. I thought I saw lots of ships sailings in that forum thus my posting in this one.

Oh well. This will be my third time waiting so I guess the novelty has worn off anyway.
