I call my MINI one mighty fine ride!

 

We call ours......."paid4"

 

"Poptart"
But not really, just "The MINI"
as in, "What car are you taking?"
"The MINI."

 

Named after my wife's childhood Bull Terrier, Spike

 

My Mini's name is Wrigley (after the Chicago Cubs). My poor car is sort of having an identity crisis though.....I've had it 9 months and I'm still not certain whether its a he or she. I really feel like it "should" be a she, but between the blue color and the fact that I always want to say, "there he is", makes it a boy. Poor car- doesn't even know its own gender!

Apparently my fiancée has recently started referring to Reba as "The Mistress." Weird... she never did that with last one.

Many years ago my sister and her husband bought a yellow VW bug convertable with a black top. My other sister, just back from Germany, named it "Gleb Vogelin" meaning "little yellow bird". As the letter "V" in German is pronounced as an "F" the car was named "Fogie". That car lasted forever so the name was around our family for a long time. My mini is black over mellow yellow so when everyone saw it they started calling it "Fogie". That was fine with me, as BMW built her, but it is a guy's car after all, so I ordered a dragon roof grafic in yellow. Dragons are birds, sort of.......

My R53 was call MINI or the MINI. I see there are several that do the same..


My R56 is called COOP. Yes with caps. I don't have many recent photos of coop as the winter was long here. I've done a lot of mods in recent months, so I'll have to come back and post a pic or 2..
