I brought Moocher home on Dec 21st of last year, and have covered just over 600 miles so far (Jan 13). I am SO ready to get past the break-in period, but my commute is only about nine blocks... so I've gone out for a few road trips, just to rack up some miles. Just joined our local MINI Club too, so hopefully I can make motoring events a regular thing.

Just hit 30K miles last month. Bought mine in June 2008 which translates to an average of about 53 miles/day each and every day. Aside from the cold start rattle and carbon buildup on intake valves (which are endemic but not debilitating) no problems.

I'm at 3,500 miles. Bought it 10/10/09. I just performed her first oil change the other day. I'm glad I did, the oil was filthy!!! I can't imagine it would have lasted 15,000 miles.

08MCS- 32,000 miles since delivery in Oct 08. Absoloutely flawless so far. I just replaced the runflats with real tires and it feels like a much better car.

I can't wait to do that on my MCS. I actually look forward to winter and my softer winter tires.

+1 I hate it too. I wish I could just park it, my MINI is a daily driver.

Oct '07 build, took delivery Nov 28 '07 and just clocked over 34K. Still on my original 17in Continental All Seasons and don't plan on replacing them until the week before MOTD8.

I truly believe I could get another 5K out of them, but there no way I'm risking it on the Dragon. I can't wait for non-run flats. Between my '04 Cooper and my current '07, I've been drivning on run-flats for 6 years. No more!

My issues:
-chain tensioner/death rattle fix (after 3 trips to Classic MINI)
-license plate bulb replaced
-melted hood scoop replaced
-main computer switching all functions to their "default" modes. All functions were re-set.

Minor issues is the scheme of it. My '04 had many, many more issues, which is why I got an R56 in the first place. I hope my current R56S is a keeper. Cheers.
