yeah i'll probably re-spray with plastidip cuz the paint on the headlight surrounds has gotten little chips from debris.

Yeah I saw that, hence my email to plasti-dip inquiring about whether or not I could order some since only basic colours are available in stores...

Here's my response:

"Christina,

There would be a custom colour charge (prox $700) to order the pink colour featured on our website. This is not including the cost of the actual Plastidip itself.

Pls advs.

Thanks,

Ummmm, WOW. Thats insane. Maybe you should just have them professionally painted to match your car and then get them invisi-shielded!

Yeah I guess that's what I'll have to do. Kinda defeats to purpose of riding this plasti-dip bandwagon and having all the fun of disguising the chrome one day, peeling it off the expose the chrome another day and doing it all over again :P Ok just kidding on that part, but the DIY bit sounded fun and the cost is attractive (for the basic colours at least :P).

If anyone happens to find pink plasti-dip in any local stores, PM me asap and we'll arrange something

Well done VW's > Stock MINI's with random, mismatched parts sprayed black on bright colored body colors.

You'll find that even on the vortex, when you find an impressive good looking car, it's not one of the cars that just plasti-dips all the parts despite how it flows with the car.
