My '08 MY MCS is my first Mini. Traded in a Nissan Xterra for the Mini, and except for a little less cargo space, loving every minute of it!

The Harley is the daily commute when the weather is good so the wife can take the Mini to save on lease miles on the Accord. She is now a definite Mini convert! Tells me she could easily get in trouble driving it every day. I do struggle when I walk past the Mini in the garage to get to the bike, as it is such a great ride!

This my first Mini. Wanted one ever since I drove a friend's MG 1100 back when the original minis were available.. FWD and hydrolastic suspension made for a really neat car and i knew the mini was even better.

My wife loves her Lexus LX-300 and I have a 7 Series that doesn't get much mileage these days. We also have the '67 Camaro RS hardtop that my wife's mom bought new. Has a 327 but wish it had something other than a Powerglide trans. The Mini has become the car of choice for us.. FUN and great handling and mileage..but we all KNOW that!

I DD my 09 MCS.

Just sold my 1990 Mustang GT which was the previous DD, and before that, i had a 1994 GT.

 

My '07 S is my first MINI, although I wanted one since I watched the old ones race in the late 60's! On occasion I also drive my husband's barge, BMW 2001 530i. It spends most of the time under a sheet because he drives a 15-passenger van for his car pool. Only the MINI goes out, a few times a week (my commute is a few feet).

We also have a '64 Porsche 356SC Sunroof Coupe. It used to be our daily driver back in '67, and my going-to-Kroger's car in the mid 70's, but lived under a table cloth until restoration started about 4 years ago. It's now complete.

My 08 MCS is my first Mini. So far so good, though i havent driven it as much as i wanted yet.

Other cars are an 85 Corvette and a 98 BMW M3.

Previously Ive have had 08 BMW 335xi coupe, 01 BMW 330ci, 05 Subaru Legacy GT Spec. B.

 

Some of these cars are pretty sweet... A lot of Porsche on here. There used to be a Porsche in my fam's stable; a 2002 911 Turbo. Was pretty sweet, but my dad traded it. Bought a Lamborghini Diablo in stead! I like parking my Mini Coop next to it. It makes me feel good.

Btw, I know what QXXOTIC means by bad gas mileage cars. My mom's Arnage gets 9 (if shes lucky ), and so does my dad's weekend car. In fact, my parents own the (according to Road & Track) 1st and 2nd worst gas mileage cars in the world!! Yay....

 

My '07 JCW PW/B Cabrio is my first MINI, just bought in Jan '08...
My other car is '01 light metallic silver Audi A4 1.8T Quattro - will still use in the winter mainly for the AWD. Really wish they'd develop the MINI w/AWD someday, cuz even w/snow boots on the MINI, it still doesn't perform as good in the snow and rain as my old Audi with Dunlop Z-rated performance tires. (Although, I just found out last month that those run-flats could be part/most of the problem I have with horrible ride and loudness while driving the MINI... unfortunately, I believe the dealer sold me run flat snows, too, cuz I hadn't done my homework on tires before I bought it.)

2003 Toyota Matrix XRS - Family grocery getter, the XRS uses the Toyota/Yamaha 2ZZ engine that is also used in the Lotus Elise.....180 HP from 1.8 liters, 8200 rpm redline, six speed manual

1995 Acura Integra LS-SE (this is like a GS-R, only with a leather interior and the regular engine, not the VTEC one) - I've owned this car for almost 13 years a great car, probably going to our son in a few years....fairly low mileage for the age, just about 110k.

The Integra has a lot of mods, 4 into 1 header, catback exhaust, Eibach Springs/Sway bars, KYB four way adjustable shocks, etc.

The MINI is really cool, lots of fun, etc. but I remain a lot more of a Miata fiend, those cars just deliver fun on par with a MINI plus the top goes down (yes there are 'vert MINIs but I'm not a fan of the 'vert MINIs....)

Funny (but it makes total sense) how much overlap there is between Miata and MINI owners, lots of people on miata.net own MINIs, I see some of the over here....
