Black-out would be good!! I was thinking about that, but is still seems so Stark, I know it's White. Stripes my do it as well, I think I was thinking more along the lines of something on the Profile, like Black Checker's?? If you are thinking about Stripes...which Stripes were you thinking about??

I placed the order of my CCW's last week. Probably another 2 weeks before they're here...Custom painted to my specs.

I don't have pictures but "Pretty Hate Machine" is one of the meaner looking ones. Matte black with red striping. It is really hard to call a Cooper mean looking though. Adding a giant spoiler and huge diffusers (cough...cough Peter's M7 MINI) makes a MINI disgusting and totally ricey, not mean.

Now " James " that was harsh. Thankfully European Car magazine doesn't agree with you .This was a three page feature article that ran in Jan 2010 in case you don't read much

loco, try Stoch33+ electrical tape as a temporary beltline blackout. Cost you $3 and about 30 minutes, and it's about the right gloss to make it happen. Just don't "stretch" it while installing. Easiest way is to take the roll, tape the entire beltline (right over the seams), cut with scissors and tuck the ends. I had mine on an entire summer and it removed with no black residue, but I have an R53, different trim, so your mileage may vary. It would give you a good, cheap idea on the "look".
Problem with a Camden is... it's hard to make ANYTHING in wedding-dress-pearl-white look "mean". Aside, of course, from a bride wronged.
IMHO, blacking out can definitely be taken too far.

Yeah, some of the so-called "japwrap" electrical tape has an uneven glossy sheen that just looks wrong, and the adhesive is just abhorrent. I've heard that Vinyl Styles looks "right" - and is certainly the "right" way to go - but in defense of Scotch33+, it's a really high quality electrical tape with an even look, great adherence, a good-enough width, and excellent temperature stability... BUT... it IS electrical tape (!), and costs 3 bucks.
I'd be careful about blacking out everything, could make the high-zoot Camden look like it's got black eyes!
Does that package have striping on the front fenders as well? Interesting. I'd like to see it "in the metal". Yours does look "boss" though. Nice work!

I don't understand why its so "rice." Where? Advans? If that were the case, BMW racing should stop using the Advan RS wheels on their cars or even Volks. The wing? Maybe the Challenge series shouldn't bother with a wing either.
Is there something I'm missing here? I absolutely love M7's Mini.
