I was told by the 1-866-ASK-MINI rep that my MC-S will be built week 37, "next week". After I got off the phone, I got out my calendar and started counting. By my count, week 37 of 2008 is the week of Sept. 21-27. Even if you assume they skip week 13 (unlucky?), you still don't get next week as week 37.

Does anyone know how these weeks are calculated? Or, for sure, which is week 37?

Count again. The 37th week of 2008 is next week - that is what Outlook tells me.

 

+1 on that. the first week of 2009 model production is this week, #36. My car is scheduled for production on week 39, 9/21-27/08.

They're "metric" weeks Just go with the flow.

 

...to prove to the entire MINI community (or at least those who read these posts) that I can't count to 37! Really! I counted twice before and got it wrong. Now I count and get 37 as next week.

Oh well, at least the car will be built next week and not at the end of the month. I guess I could always change my login id, huh?
